Sassuolo coach Alessio Dionisi is delighted with the way the players have responded to his methods.
Dionisi's work has been a revelation this season.
“I am a debutant coach who is gaining experience," the 42-year-old told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Every game is important because it's a chance to develop regardless of the opponents' name. I think that it's amazing to overcome difficulties. I am grateful to Sassuolo because they have allowed me to have more responsibility.
“We still have to improve, we've conceded too many avoidable goals. Those that I call non-goals. We have to improve massively in these situations."
He continued: “I've worked on (Davide) Frattesi and (Hamed) Traoré's heads. As for Gianluca Scamacca, I've made him understand the importance of daily work and I've put Maxime Lopez at the core of the project.
“I've given Giacomo Raspadori even more regular playing time and, as for Domenico Berardi…well…you only need to put him on the pitch."
