Manchester United and Chelsea are set to go head to head in the transfer market this summer.
The two Premier League clubs are being linked with Villarreal centre-back Pau Torres.
The Spaniard was also linked to United last summer, but no move materialised, as they signed Raphael Varane instead.
However, Fabrizio Romano suggests Torres is on the lists of both clubs as they look to acquire a centre-half in the summer transfer window.
Torres is highly rated, having impressed under Unai Emery at Villarreal, and is known for his ability to play out from the back.
He has even been linked to Real Madrid and Barcelona, and may have a preference for staying in Spain.
