Sporting CP are eager to hold onto Everton goalkeeper Joao Virginia.
Virginia has spent the season on loan at Sporting Lisbon and the Portuguese side are interested in extending it for another year, says Record.
Sporting have the option to purchase the 22-year-old this summer for €5million, but the Lions have not been convinced that they should go all in on permanent move and would prefer a second loan spell.
But whether the player himself will go for that is a different story.
Virginia has only made seven appearances for Sporting this season and none of them have been in the Primeira Liga.
