American billionaire Todd Boehly has been snapped at Stamford Bridge after his consortium won its bid to buy Chelsea for £4.25billion.
The picture, taken by big Chelsea fan Darren Lavery, was posted on Twitter late on Friday night - just hours before Chelsea announced Boehly's group had signed a purchase agreement to take over.
Former chancellor George Osborne, brought in by the consortium to help them with the takeover, was also spotted in the photo.
Boehly is expected to attend Saturday's match between Chelsea and Wolves at Stamford Bridge following confirmation of the agreement.
Can confirm that Todd Boehly is at the bridge....can also confirm that he is an absolute gent! #Chelsea#ChelseaFC#ToddBoehly#CFCpic.twitter.com/JrheRuzXJm — Darren Lavery (@Darren_Lav89) May 6, 2022
