Bad weather expected at seven states tonight, says MetMalaysia

SHAH ALAM - The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a bad weather alert today as thunderstorms, heavy rains and strong winds are expected to hit seven states until 9pm tonight.

The states are Kedah, Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Sabah and Sarawak.

It further stated thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected in:

* Kedah (Sik and Baling)

* Perak ((Larut, Matang and Selama, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Perak Tengah and Hilir Perak)

* Kelantan (Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Jeli, Tanah Merah, Machang, Kuala Krai and Gua Musang)

* Terengganu (Besut, Setiu and Kuala Nerus)

* Pahang (Cameron Highlands)

* Sarawak (Sarikei, Julau, Sibu, Kanowit and Kapit)

* Sabah (Keningau and Tambunan)
