Everton have made a contract offer to Burnley defender James Tarkowski.
The 29 year-old is off contract at the end of next month and will leave Turf Moor after their relegation.
The Telegraph says Aston Villa are keen, but Everton have made an offer to the defender.
Everton are leading the race, offering Tarkowski a deal worth around £90,000-a-week.
In the 2021/22 season, Tarkowski scored one goal and provided two assists in 37 matches.
