Former Lokomotiv Moscow president Nikolai Naumov feels for Roman Abramovich as Chelsea changes hands.
Todd Boehly's group have had an offer for the club accepted and are now in the final stretch.
Naumov told Sport-Express: "Abramovich achieved a lot with Chelsea – he won the Champions League, the Premier League. He invested a lot in the club. When the owner changes, it always leads to chaos and confusion. I don't think it will get worse.
"The results will drop as new management will follow the owner. Over time, the club will rise, but there will certainly be some kind of fall.
"As far as I understand, all the money from the sale of the club will go to a frozen account. So, Abramovich will not get it. It turns out they (Boehly) were just selected. This is lawlessness and banditry!"
