Off contract in June, Origi has been in Bosman talks with the Rossonero.
With Milan the subject of sale talks, however, it's been suggested the deal could be off.
The Athletic reports Milan still intend to sign Origi, despite the prospect of a change of owner.
The Italian giants have an agreement with Origi over the outline of a four-year contract.
