Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s cases dipped to 22 on Saturday from 26 the day earlier, with no deaths or new clusters, said Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.

“The Covid-19 situation in all Sabah districts is stable and under control. Sixteen districts did not record any new cases. Ten districts recorded a decrease while seven recorded a rise.

“Kota Kinabalu topped the list with eight cases, followed by Penampang (4) and Papar (2). Out of 11 districts that recorded new cases, eight recorded only one new case,” he said in a statement, Saturday.

Of the caseload, 54.55 per cent were sporadic infections while 13.64 per cent were close contacts.

Masidi said the majority of cases were mild, with 18 out of 22 being category one and two infections, while one case in category three was recorded and three in category four. There were no category five infections.
