Kota Kinabalu: At least two witnesses who called MERS999 as well as the Queen Elizabeth Hospital about an accident and the need for an ambulance in Kolombong last Wednesday have taken offence at suggestions that they may have been lying.
Mohd Saiful Hamadon said he gave MERS999 proper directions to the accident site that afternoon where Lew Kok Fai, a baker, died without any ambulance in sight for an hour.
