Sporting Lisbon have triggered the buying option for Manchester City player Pedro Porro.
Portuguese outlet Record states that Sporting are very pleased with Porro's progress this season.
They have agreed to sign him permanently for roughly €8.5 million.
The agreement includes the option for City to bring him back to the Etihad Stadium at any time for €20 million.
Such a deal suits all parties, as Porro is now established in Portugal, and can continue to progress his career.
There is unlikely to be any sell-on clause in the contract, which means Sporting are free to claim all the profits from a sale, even if Porro does not go back to City.
