Kota Kinabalu: Sabah's new Covid-19 cases dropped significantly to 27 today, showing signs of a recovery after the Hari Raya peak, said an update shared by the spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun.
Today's number was 44 percent or 21 cases fewer than yesterday's with Kota Kinabalu remaining the only district with double-digit fresh cases.
Whether the declining trend continues depends on people's attitude while celebrating Kaamatan which peaks at the end of May.
All of today's cases were asymptomatic or light infections.
