Chelsea's Champions League qualification has been confirmed following Arsenal's 2-0 loss to Newcastle on Monday night.

The Blues' spot in next season's elite European competition was under threat after a defeat to Everton and a draw with Wolves at the start of May.

Thomas Tuchel's side have occupied third spot for most of the season.

But fifth-placed Arsenal and Spurs in fourth were hot on the Blues' heels heading into the final week of the campaign.

But the Gunners untimely implosion at St James' Park has ensured the Blues WILL play alongside Europe's best in the upcoming campaign.
