Wolves goalkeeper coach Tony Roberts had mixed emotions after their 2-2 draw at Chelsea.
Despite snatching a last-minute goal at Stamford Bridge having found themselves two goals down with 15 minutes of the game remaining, the goalkeeping coach – who was stepping in for head coach Bruno Lage – believed his side should have taken all three points back to Wolverhampton, if their missed chances would have found their way on target.
Roberts said, “It was unbelievable. We've come back from 2-0 down and nicked a point. We came back to get the point but we're disappointed we didn't win it with the chances we had.
“We had a few good opportunities from set-pieces in the first-half, and then in the second-half, we've come out and the substitutions have changed the game. The boss communicated with us the changes he wanted to make, and it's worked.
“For the last 15 minutes, we went through them, we attacked them and the boys think we could have got all three points. But this group has great spirit and you can see here how hard they work for each other all season, so to comeback from 2-0 down here – what a result."
He added, “In the first-half, we had a few good chances, Neto went through, Leo should have scored, but this team are a very decent team.
“They work hard, they keep going and to come here to the reigning European champions and the FA Cup finalists next weekend, it's a massive achievement for the boys."
