
KENINGAU: Maxwell Walter Cyril emerged champion in the Keningau Sugandoi Kaamatan competition which took place at the Sabah Handicraft Centre, here.
Maxwell took home a cash prize of RM1,500.
Second place went to Olga Anne Christopher who took home RM1,000 followed by Glorytta Tanaus @ Richard who received RM500.
Glorytta also grabbed the most popular vote while Bedrip Edwin’s was best performer.
The Sugandoi Kaamatan competition was officiated by Assistant Minister of Works and Bingkor Assemblyman, Datuk Robert Tawik @ Nordin which was also attended by the District Officer and Implementing Chairman of the Kaamatan Festival, Walter Kenson.
All prizes were presented by Robert.
