Sinar Daily-EU Wacana collaboration on May 9 to talk on EU-Asean geopolitics, trade and commerce

SHAH ALAM - European Union will be collaborating with Sinar Daily to host a Wacana English Edition special in conjunction with Europe Day this Monday, May 9.

The dialogue titled “Global Challenges in a Multipolar World” will discuss on the broad perspective on global geopolitics amidst the 45 years of partnership of EU-Asean this year.

Discussions will also cover the EU-Asean relations and their roles in the Indo-Pacific region as well as trade and commerce matters.

The programme will be broadcasted live on all Sinar Daily and Sinar Harian social media platforms and webs from Karangkraf's Studio F in Shah Alam from 10am until 11.30am.

The forum is also co-organised with Universiti Malaya’s (UM) Asia Europe Institute (AEI).

It will be moderated by UM's Dr Rahul Mishra, a Senior Lecturer and Coordinator at Asia-Europe Institute.

The panelist are UM Asia-Europe Institute Economic lecturer Datuk Prof Dr Rajah Rasiah, former Malaysian Foreign Minister Tan Sri Syed Hamid Albar and EU Ambassador to Malaysia Michail Rokas.

A keynote speech will be given by Czech Republic Ambassador to Malaysia Milan Hupcej before the dialogue begins and will end with a question and answer (Q&A) session.
