Manchester United are intensifying their interest in Sporting CP defender Goncalo Inacio.
The 20 year-old has been discussed at United with incoming manager Erik ten Hag, reports A Bola, who has now approved a move.
United have stepped up their pursuit in recent days to make contact with Sporting about a price for Inacio.
The defender's contract carries a €45m buyout clause, which United deem too rich.
Instead, United are seeking a structured fee, which would involve €40m down plus a further €5m due in bonuses.
