SANDAKAN: The body of a woman believed to be in her 30s or 40s was found floating by the sea off Jalan Coastal, here, by the public, around 10am, Saturday.
Sandakan Police Chief ACP Abdul Fuad Abdul Malek said police did not find any identification document on the victim at the scene.
He also said the initial investigation did not find any element of crime or physical injury on the victim’s body.
“Investigations are still ongoing to identify the cause of death and as of now, the case is classified as sudden death,” he said.
