Kota Kinabalu: It appears that the MERS999 system of Sabah emergencies being referred to peninsula before being relayed to Sabah authorities to act has let down Sabahans again.
While on the last occasion four family members were burnt to death due to slow response last September, a 54-year-old succumbed to apparent heart failure for the same reason this time around.
