SANDAKAN: Police here have opened an investigation paper under Section 147 of the Penal Code on a group of students allegedly involved in a free-for-all in the streets, here, on Tuesday (pic).
Sandakan District Police Chief, ACP Abdul Fuad Abdul Malek, said, the initial investigation by the police found that the fight took place in Jalan Elopura, in town, at 2pm. He said the police are still investigating the cause of the fight as well as identify those involved.
He urged the public who may have information related to the incident to go to the nearest police station or contact the Investigating Officer of the case, Inspector Micheal Goh at 0168741216 or 089-203223 to channel the information. Members of the public helped to resolve the fight.
