Troy Parrott has bid farewell to MK Dons after his loan spell ended with their defeat in the League One promotion play-offs.

The Tottenham loanee played 47 times for MK Dons this season, scoring 10 goals.

He wrote on Instagram on Monday: "Time at MK Dons has come to an end, gutted we couldn't get over the line in the play offs but I guess that's football. Can't thank everyone involved at MK enough for this season especially the fans who stuck behind me and the team for the whole season and also the coaching staff and background staff who have helped me so much over the year making me a better player but also a better person.

"I'll miss the players who made it enjoyable everyday and have made some friends for life. Everyone around the club has made it a special year for me and I'm so grateful for that. Will always have a place in my heart for MK Dons and all the people involved in the club. Thank you."
