KUALA LUMPUR – Police are investigating the case of a local man found unconscious by the roadside in Taman Tenaga, Cheras today after the victim’s wife lodged a police report.

Cheras police chief Muhammad Idzam Jaafar said they found a video clip of the incident on social media at 5pm today and believe the victim had been assaulted, adding that the man is receiving treatment at Canselor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital in Cheras here.

“The case is being investigated under Section 394 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt in committing robbery,” he said today.
