
RANAU: A 48-year-old local woman had to be propped up all the way down to safety after she sprained her left shoulder during a Mount Kinabalu climb on Sunday.
Ranau Fire and Rescue Department (BBP) Chief PPgB Ridwan Mohd Taib said the incident marked the 30th that happened this year.
He said in the 2.15pm incident at Km 1.4 on the Mount Kinabalu trail, the Mountain Search and Rescue (Mosar) team had to act quickly after the victim’s injured part began to swell.
