Barcelona manager Xavi is eager to sign Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.

The Catalan giants are hoping to secure a long-term replacement for Sergio Busquets.

According to Diario Sport, Xavi sees Neves as the ideal candidate to fill that role at the club.

The 25-year-old has long been linked with a move away from Wolves.

The likes of Manchester United and Arsenal were linked to his signature in the January transfer window.

Neves has a contract with Wolves until 2023.
