They're currently short on numbers in the centre of the park after the departures of Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic.
Elsewhere, reports suggest both West Ham and Aston Villa would be keen on signing Oxlade-Chamberlain, who made 29 appearances in all competitions last season.
