Kota Kinabalu: A Letter of intent (LoI) was signed between Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) and the Sabah Durian and Tropical Fruits (MaSDa) developers to develop agriculture in the State.

The LoI is to also see better collaborations between UMS’ Faculty of Sustainable Agriculture (FPL) and MasDa as they work on ways to improve the quality of fruits and crops.

The faculty dean, Prof Dr Azwan Aawang, said students would benefit well from the deal, as they will be exposed to more field works and industrial training at MaSDA farms.
