Juventus cult hero Moreno Torricelli has been impressed by Federico Gatti.
The young Juve defender spent part of last season on-loan at Frosinone and made his full Italy debut in last week's draw in England.
Torricelli told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I saw the game with England, I liked him a lot. If you make your debut in Azzurri without even having played in Serie A, it means not only that you have quality, but also personality and a pinch of healthy recklessness.
"His chances at Juventus? It all depends on him.
"Juve lost (Giorgio) Chiellini and if Gatti convinces (Max) Allegri in the summer, a place in the squad could be free for him."
