Inter Milan are considering an offer for Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku, which could involve Stefan de Vrij.
The Italian giants are hoping to bring Lukaku back to the a club a year after selling him to Chelsea for £97.5 million.
According to La Repubblica, Inter cannot pay anywhere near that fee to Chelsea for the Belgian forward.
The Blues want a deal that includes a £19.5 million one-year loan fee, along with a £59.6 million fee as an obligation to buy.
Inter will attempt to bring down the price by offering 30-year-old center-back de Vrij to Chelsea.
The Blues are in the market for defenders after the free transfer departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
