Villarreal are in advanced talks to sign Giovani Lo Celso from Tottenham.
The central midfielder enjoyed a very successful loan spell during the second half of this past season at the Yellow Submarines.
According to Football Insider, the 26-year-old is eager to join Villarreal permanently.
The club have held talks with both Spurs and the player's representatives.
The loan deal had no buy option, which means Villarreal must negotiate a transfer with Tottenham.
Spurs are willing to accept around £20 million for Lo Celso.
