Kota Kinabalu: The recent filing of an application for judicial review over the 40 per cent special grant to Sabah by the Sabah Law Society (SLS) is supported by Sepanggar MP Datuk Mohd Azis Jamman.
The former Deputy Home Minster said he was the first Member of Parliament to raise the issue when the special grant gazette was disclosed by the Federal Finance Ministry (MOF).
Federal Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz was previously reported as saying that the 40 per cent allocation is no longer applicable.
