Bournemouth are in talks with Liverpool for Nat Phillips.
The south coast outfit brought in the centre-back back in January, and he ended up playing a key role as the Cherries finished second in the Championship behind Fulham.
And now Cherries manager Scott Parker wants the 25-year-old to return to the Vitality to help them secure their status in the top-flight.
It was initially thought that Liverpool may be willing to allow Phillips to depart permanently, but the Liverpool Echo says those at Anfield still see him as a long-term replacement to Joel Matip.
