Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reserved praise for midfielders Fred and Scott McTominay.
The two were instrumental in United stifling Chelsea and earning a 2-1 win in the Carabao Cup at Stamford Bridge in midweek.
Given the absence of Paul Pogba, both have needed to step up for United in recent weeks.
Solskjaer acknowledged their efforts at his press conference.
"[McTominay] has been excellent and now him and Fred have a good relationship," said the United boss.
"They're playing well together. They did it last season - there were quite a few games where they played well together when we had some injuries, like PSG and Arsenal.
"Now they're working as a pair, but Scotty [in particular] has been excellent."
