Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits he never wanted to see Philippe Coutinho sold.
The Barcelona midfielder has just left for Bayern Munich on-loan.
And Klopp has revealed he never wanted to sell the Brazil playmaker.
"[Coutinho's] a player of absolute substance. I had him at Liverpool and I would never had sold him, if I wasn't forced to," he told the Liverpool Echo.
"The offer was undeniable to us, it seemed strange, we couldn't allow ourselves to hold him back."
