Tottenham failed with no less than THREE offers for Sporting CP midfielder Bruno Fernandes in the final weeks of the Premier League market.
O Jogo says Sporting's stand has left Fernandes furious after he had expected to move to London by Thursday.
Spurs' final offer was for 60m up front plus a further 10m in bonuses. But Sporting insisted on a 70m fee.
Fernandes even appealed personally to sports director Hugo Viana to accept Tottenham's proposal.
But with the English window shut, the midfielder has been left sad and angry by Sporting's stand.
