West Ham legend Frank McAvennie has called on the club to sell Marko Arnautovic.
Arnautovic is keen to depart West Ham and is understood to have completed a medical with Shanghai SIPG ahead of a 20m move.
McAvennie told Love Sport Radio that the 30-year-old should be banished to the reserves as punishment for his behaviour.
"The first time he wanted to go, I wanted him out the door because as an ex-player you hear stories and apparently he is not good for the dressing room," said the ex-Hammers star.
"Now it's come up a second time, the boys will just be fed up with him I would imagine.
"The quicker he goes, the better. I would love West Ham to put him in the reserves and just let him sit there and stew. But it's not going to happen.
"It's a business and Mr Sullivan and Mr Gold will be wanting to reap some money in for him. I think in the next week or so they will be trying to offload him."
