Tottenham face a battle convincing Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo about a move to England.
Corriere dello Sport says the north Londoners have made a cash-plus-player offer for Zaniolo's services, although they will have to compete with Juventus for his signature.
Tottenham have offered Roma 20.6million plus defender Alderweireld for midfielder Zaniolo.
Italian champions Juve are also in the running to sign the midfielder and the report claims that Turin is the player's preferred destination.
Roma, however, are interested in signing Alderweireld, who currently has a 25m release clause that expires on July 25.
