Manchester United are working to clinch a deal for Christian Eriksen before Thursday's transfer deadline.
Representatives of Eriksen are hopeful of negotiating a move and he remains at the top of United's wishlist, according to the Daily Mail.
The Dane stated earlier in the summer that he was seeking a new challenge, with his Spurs contract set to expire in 2020.
United are trying desperately to negotiate the deal before Thursday.
Spurs are attempting to sign either Sporting Lisbon's Bruno Fernandes or Real Betis star Giovanni Lo Celso to replace Eriksen.
