Davide Zappacosta would be open to leaving Chelsea for a return to Serie A.

The Italian right-back has struggled to nail down a place at Stamford Bridge after arriving from Torino in the summer of 2017.

Goal says Zappacosta wants a return to his homeland.

Chelsea are happy to offload the 27-year-old after deciding teenager Reece James would serve as back-up to Cesar Azpilicueta.

Lazio have previously shown an interest in the player, while Juventus could be on the lookout for another right-back should Joao Cancelo seal a move to Manchester City.
