Brighton boss Graham Potter is delighted with the all round game of Aaron Connolly.

Connolly made headlines in the 3-2 win over Everton as the player involved in a controversial penalty decision.

He also caught the eye with his hold-up play with defenders tight to him.

And that pleased Potter in a hard-fought win.

The Seagulls boss told The Argus: I use the word surprising because he is known for running in behind.

But, if you play the balls into him, he is good enough to link up.

Then, his work for the team is really good as a young player.

Him and Neal (Maupay) are a handful.

I think you are always in the game with those two.

We didn't probably use them as well as we could.

There are some things the opposition did well and some things we didn't do so well."
