Manchester United are not interested in helping Gareth Bale end his Real Madrid nightmare.

Real boss Zinedine Zidane explain that Bale was left out of Saturday's loss to Bayern Munich because the Welshman was "very close to leaving."

Zidane is desperate to use any funds raised to sign United midfielder Paul Pogba.

However, the London Evening Standard says the Red Devils do not want Bale in any potential offer for the World Cup winner.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants the club to focus on signing young, British talent who can develop and progress in the coming years.

United will only consider selling Pogba for 170m and not a part-exchange with former Tottenham winger Bale.
