Chelsea are interested in signing Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen, according to Liga Financial.
The youngster is in demand, as he is scouted by the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal.
The Blues are the latest who have an interest in the 23-year-old attacker.
The Germany international managed 20 goals last term.
If he impresses this season, Leverkusen could find themselves in the middle of a bidding war for his services.
Chelsea have a transfer ban at present, which means they cannot make signings until next summer.
