Sevilla striker Luuk de Jong ended his six-month goal drought, scoring the only goal of the game as they beat Levante at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
Following intense pressure from the media and the fans, De Jong will be glad to have silenced some of his critics after a bad performance against Barcelona just before the international break.
Now he is hoping for more of the same after bagging his first goal of the season.
"It was a good game," De Jong told SFC Radio.
"It is very important for me and for the team as well.
"Scoring at the Sanchez Pizjuan is great. I hope more goals follow."
