Tottenham have made an attempt for Barcelona midfielder Riqui Puig, it has been revealed.
Esport3 says Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino made an attempt to sign the youngster last summer.
However, Puig turned down the approach, confident he would get a first team chance this season at Barca.
But now the youngster's opinion has changed and is now prepared to leave Barca in January in search for first team football.
Along with Puig, Pochettino is also keen on Barca teammate Carles Alena.
