Manchester City defender Nicolas Otamendi has assured Valencia he wants to return.
The Argentina international has offers from across Europe - and City management aren't actively seeking to lose him.
But the Manchester Evening News says Otamendi is determined to leave.
And he has assured Valencia intermediaries that he would "return and play for Valencia" if given the chance.
The defender left VCF for City in 2015.
