Arsenal chief Raul Sanllehi has made contact with former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique, it has been revealed.
El Confidencial says Gunners boss Unai Emery is under huge pressure after hitting a heavy slump.
And Sanllehi is already looking for potential candidates and has been in touch with Enrique over the position.
Enrique has been out of work since leaving the Spain job in June for personal reasons just before his nine-year-old daughter Xana passed away from bone cancer.
His three years at Barcelona saw him lead the Catalan club to back-to-back La Liga titles and lift the Champions League trophy in the 2014-15 season.
