Atletico Madrid have announced the signing of midfielder Hector Herrera from Porto.
The Mexican's contract with the Portuguese club came to an end on June 30, which means he is joining on a free, and he will sign a three-year contract with Atletico on Thursday.
Herrera, who owns a Portuguese passport, moved to Porto in 2013 and last season he played 53 games, scoring nine goals.
