Leicester City ace James Maddison says his sudden rise is no surprise to him.
The midfielder says he's happy to take his success in stride.
"It hasn't surprised me I don't think," he told the Daily Mail.
"Obviously there are pinch-myself moments - when I first got called up to the England senior squad, or my Premier League debut at Old Trafford where it's like 'wow, I've worked hard to get to this point'.
"But I always knew, I always back myself and believe in myself so I wouldn't say I was necessarily surprised, I was just grateful and happy to be where I was. I put a lot of hard work into getting there."
