Brighton defender Martin Montoya won't rule out a return to Serie A.

Montoya had time in Italy with Inter Milan, though admits he didn't do himself justice.

He told TMW, "I left Barcelona for the first time, I was just 24 years old and it was not easy to be far from home. In any case, I am really grateful to those who believed in me at Inter.

"It went how it went, but it was a honour and a real pleasure to get to know a country and a championship as evocative as Italy and the Serie A closely."

He added: "In football, you know, anything is possible. I'd go back to playing in Italy."

However, on Brighton, Montoya added: "I'm happy. The Premier is another great championship, very balanced and competitive. The goal for this season is to continue to enjoy this experience to the fullest, just as I have done since my arrival here last year."
