Former Real Madrid chief Predrag Mijatovic has told Luka Jovic to be patient.
Jovic joined Real Madrid in June and penned a six-year deal after arriving from Eintracht Frankfurt, but has struggled in preseason.
"Like any young player who ends up at a massive club, you must be patient. He has to wait for his opportunity, train hard and reflect on his situation," Mijatovic said.
"He doesn't have it easy.
"The competition is tough but he's young and has the ambition to demonstrate his quality."
