Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is delighted to be working with Lucas Moura.
Mourinho admits he tried to sign Lucas when in charge of Real Madrid.
He revealed: "I tried to recruit him when he was in Sao Paulo, before he was transferred to PSG.
"I wanted him at Real Madrid. I had met his mother, his dad, his agents. We talked in Madrid, but PSG came on the scene and he escaped us.
"He's just an example of a Tottenham player I wanted to recruit in the past."
Lucas scored in victory at West Ham yesterday.
